Common Questions:

1.  Can I meet with my DJ prior to my wedding?
Of course.  Normally, our DJs will call you 2-3 weeks prior to your wedding to go over all the details from your online wedding planner.  If you aren’t quite finished, we can help you along the way with suggestions and ideas.  Just ask!  Otherwise, we hope you have a great time on your wedding day.

2.  Why should I hire you?
We have great DJs who are also Master of Ceremony.  They are experienced, professional with an extensive knowledge of music.  Our DJs also are classy, and bring only the best to each wedding.

3.  How much do we cost?
Our prices are based on the value of the experience you receive.  We are competitive with all of the top DJs in the area and hope you see that as you make your decision.

4.  Do you take requests?
Of course.  Our DJs are masters of creating a musical story based on a small “inspiration” list from you and your friends and family.  We like to know songs you don’t want to hear, too!  That helps direct us in the way you will most enjoy.

5.  Are you insured?
Wedding Faktory, LLC is fully insured and bonded.  If your venue needs us to add them to our certificate or as additional insured, please let us know at least 30 days prior to your event.

 How long have you been in the disc jockey business?
Well, that depends on the way you look at it.  The owner has been DJing since 1997 and he only hires passionate, experienced, professional talent to represent his business.

Do you have good equipment?  And what is your back-up plan in case something breaks down?
Each of our DJs brings professional, top-of-the-line gear to each wedding.   Even though all of our gear is well maintained, in the rare instance we  need a back-up of anything (including music) we carry it with us.

How interactive is the DJ?
Our DJs also have a unique secondary responsibility of being your Master of Ceremony.  As such, we are great public speakers.  However, we also know it’s YOUR special day and we never want to overshadow you or the fun your friends and family are having.

I’m ready to book, how do I sign up?
We have a contract that we prepare for you along with our online wedding planner that confirms who will be at your wedding.  Just ask us for details.

How early do you set-up?
We almost always insist on setting up prior to any guests arrival.  That gives us ample time to test our gear, make sure everything sounds ok and change out of street clothes into more formal attire.  We like to dress to impress!

What types of events to you do most often?
We are the Wedding Faktory, and we do weddings the most and the best.  You really don’t need to take our word for it either.  Check out our real weddings to see for your self!

How would you define your “style” or approach to providing DJ entertainment?
Our DJs / MCs are about as polished and top-notch as you can get, combining artistic mixing and a professional look and feel to your day.  Our job isn’t to be the show, but to make sure you are having the best time of your life.   We do not shamelessly plug our company, tell ridiculous stories or jokes that just create an awkward moment.  We play great music and use that music to to inspire you to dance!

How do you mix the music?
All of our DJs mix songs based on tempo and the energy they bring to the dancefloor.  We love the music we play and that translates to a full dancefloor.  We don’t want to push people away by playing heavy-bass pounding music right off the bat.  And we don’t want the night to turn into our personal nightclub.  What we do want is there to be a well thought out balance between a classic feel with a modern touch, sans the cheese.
