Video FAQ

Why should I use a videographer?
We have an eye for finding the best moments and memories and then edit them to form one of the best ways to share your wedding day:  our cinematic artistic videos.

Can I meet you prior to booking?
Yes, you can meet with one of our exceptional wedding planners either in-person or via phone, skype or google hangout.  We have you covered and will answer any and all questions you have prior to you signing your contract!

When do you normally arrive?
That depends on what is on your shoot list and how long you have us for your wedding.  Normally, about 2 hours prior to your ceremony and an hour or two into your reception.  We like to work with the MC to make sure we capture everything without the need for any overtime.

When is the final payment due?
A deposit of 50% is due when you book and the remainder is due 30 days prior to your wedding date.  If you have any questions about this, just ask us.

How do you accept payment?
We accept all the major credit cards (VISA, MASTER CARD, AMEX, DISCOVER) and PAYPAL.  We prefer payment be made with check or cash to avoid us paying a fee.

Where there be bulky cameras and gear?
No, we have the latest gear that captures HD.  We are generally comparable to a photographer.

What sets you apart from everyone else?
We have some of the best videographers that can capture your vision and create the perfect wedding film for you and your fiance.  We spend the necessary time to know what you expect PRIOR to your wedding, we shoot and then we edit your video to remember every moment as it happened yesterday.  Just check out some of our real weddings and the video’s we did.  They are AWESOME!

Can I make suggestions for my wedding film?
You sure can and we encourage you do to that.  We have an online wedding planner that will walk you through some of the most common shots we do.  But feel free to ask us for whatever you feel would be a great moment and we’ll be sure to get it!

How do you record during the ceremony?
We have wireless mics and a connection that can piggy-back off of the house or system PA.  Our mics are tested so they don’t interfere with the DJ or House system.  We use our portable recording devices to record all the audio.

Do you bring back-ups and what if your video fails during the ceremony?
We have a back-up on-hand that we can turn on the second we notice something is wrong.  If we have two cameras set-up, we automatically have a back-up of the video. We know how important this footage is.  It is always beneficial to have a second camera set-up even if you don’t end up having another videographer for those just-in-case scenarios.

Can we pick out the music for our wedding films?
You sure can.  We normally take it one step further and take the lyrical content of your song and find great scenes that would play into the music.  Check out some of our real weddings, you’ll love what we do!

Are you available for travel?
We are and we love to.  Just let us know the details and we’ll get there a day in advance to scout out some great spots to shoot.

How do I reserve my date?
You can use our date checker on any of our packages or just reach out to us via phone or email (these are the best!).  You can also connect via text, or inbox our facebook page.

How long is the finished DVD?
Our DVDs depend largely on how long your ceremony is and what package you end up going with.  Normally, you will get about 45 mins to an hour of footage plus the raw footage.

When will I get my finished DVD and movie?
The average time will be 6-8 weeks, but can take up to 12 weeks during our peak season.  We will be sure to keep you updated on our progress.
